As long as a user does not have at least one reviewed and activated contribution, the user is unable to edit his profile, set a avatar, title picture or a signature.

I don't want to complain, but I think it would be better if you added some content to this page showing what the modded items look like, otherwise it's hard for users to know if it's worth trying out or not.
